Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini Review

I spotted Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini while looking through the frozen dinner section of my grocery store. This is a new item and the option to change from a usual frozen dinner to a panini was welcomed by me. I decided to try this product out. Here is what I discovered.

Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini is a new product being offered by Healthy Choice. This company has pleased me in the past with their creative, tasty and nutritionally balanced frozen dinners. Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini is a blend of diced beef, roasted onions, two cheeses, green and red peppers with a cheese flavored sauce. This is all piled on top of two pieces of sourdough bread. The box stated that I would be able to grill this sandwich in my microwave. Well, I did.

This product took less than three minutes to microwave. It came with a tray and carton to use for cooking. The panini cooks open faced. You then fold the panini together. It resembles a sandwich and I was impressed with the grill marks on the sourdough bread. That was cool. You can eat the panini without putting it together, if you wish. I like the open version and I needed extra sauce with mine, so I tried it that way. You can also prepare this panini in the oven, if you wish.

Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini is very tasty! The peppers add a great flavor to this product. The beef is very tender and I liked the flavor of the cheeses and cheese sauce. The panini was a bit dry. I needed extra sauce and I also thought that the sourdough bread was a bit too dry. the bread was crunchy and crispy, though. I also felt that while the beef was very good, there needed to be more of it on the panini. The diced beef was cut in very small chunks and not too plentiful. This panini left me wanting more food and I do advise having a side salad or side dish of vegetables to go along with this panini, if you are hungry.

The Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini costs about three dollars. If I compare this item to a Healthy Choice frozen dinner, which costs around the same price, I find that the Healthy Choice frozen dinner provides a better value. There is a lot more food in a Healthy Choice frozen dinner. They usually fill me up. Still, this product did give me what I was looking for. The Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini provided me with something different for my dinner menu. I wish this product had offered two paninis in the box, as that would have been perfect and more hearty.

I rate the Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini three out of five stars. This item is available in many varieties. Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini has four and a half grams of fat, three hundred and ten calories and six hundred grams of sodium. There is zero trans fat in this product. Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini provided me with thirty-five percent of my daily vitamin A requirement, twenty-five percent of my daily calcium requirement, twenty percent of my daily iron requirement and six percent of my daily vitamin C requirement. This product also has twenty-four grams protein. I found all of these facts to be great! Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini has forty-three grams of carbs and six grams of dietary fiber. Total calories from fat are only forty and that is very low! This product has great nutritional value and provided me with an excellent way to improve my diet. That is the best thing about this product, in my opinion.

I have seen this item at most grocery stores where I shop at and it seems to be pretty popular. I enjoyed it and plan to try some of the other varieties of this product. It gave me a break from the usual frozen dinner and I liked that. This product meets the American Heart Association food criteria for saturated fat and cholesterol. One Healthy Choice Philly Cheese Steak Panini equals six weight watchers points. I found many good points about this item. It gave me a tasty way to watch calories and has some wonderful health benefits.
